The pandemic prevented many planned conferences from being held in person; some were cancelled, while some events were carried out remotely and members continued activities within the limitations.
The world began to be gradually affected by COVID-19 and so was the maritime sector. This prevented many earlier planned conferences from being held in person and some had to be cancelled in view of travel restrictions and in the interest of everyone’s health. However, we were able to carry out and attend some events remotely and our members were able to undertake some activities within the given limitations.
