GlobalMET carries out activities and research in the field of maritime training and education. Its establishment arose from the participants’ desire to support the aims and objectives of the IMO for “safer ships and cleaner oceans”.

Full Membership is open to maritime education and training providers. Associate Membership is open to organisations or individuals not providing maritime education and training services as a core activity, but wishing to receive information about GlobalMET’s activities.
